The working principle of automatic labeler :
The process begins with the box being fed to the automatic labeler at a constant rate on the conveyor belt. Mechanical fixtures separate boxes by a fixed distance and push the boxes along a conveyor belt. The mechanical system of a labeling machine consists of a driving wheel, a labeling wheel, and a reel. The driving wheel intermittently drags the label belt to move, and the label belt is pulled out from the reel. At the same time, the label wheel will press the label belt on the box. An open loop displacement control is used on the reel to maintain the tension of the tag straps. Since the tags are closely connected to the tag straps, the tag straps must constantly start and stop.
The label is attached to the case with the label wheel moving at the same speed as the case. When the belt reaches a specific location, the tag belt driving wheel accelerates to match the speed of the belt, applies the tag, and then slows to a stop.
Since the label strip may slide, it has a registration sign on it to ensure that each label is placed correctly. The registration mark is read by a sensor, and during the deceleration phase of the band, the driving wheel repositions itself to correct any misplacement of the band.
